Termination for Pre-wired Expansion Frames
As described above, unused BNC connectors on port expanders should
be terminated for best performance. However, it may be desirable to
install an empty or partially stuffed frame and associated cabling to
simplify future expansion, and when such cabling connects to a port
expander that is carrying active signals, special termination hardware
is required. Since the presence of pre-wired cabling will not permit
standard BNC terminators to be installed on the expander, an LD-33100
Loader board is installed in the associated frame in place of an input or
output board to provide correct termination.

Frame 1 contains no input or output boards, but wiring has already
been installed between Frame 1 and the PE-331016 Port Expanders.
