Super Out
A feature in which a channel's SDI outputs can be configured to display timecode,
channel, and clip information. This feature requires special licensing.
Super Slo-Mo
A feature in which two or three of a channel's SDI inputs can be configured to record
2x or 3x video and create a Super Slo-Mo clip. This feature requires special
Timecode Striping
Striping a timecode allows you to overwrite the existing timecode track for a loaded
clip.
Time Dome
A multi-function indicator that displays either record progress only, or available
storage and record progress. It also indicates when the record channel is in Loop
Record mode.
Transfer Monitor
A tool in AppCenter that monitors media transfers and file imports and exports.
Up Conversion
Conversion of an SD (standard definition) video format to an HD (high definition)
video format.
Video + Key
A feature in which two of a channel's SDI inputs and outputs can be configured for
synchronized record and playback of a clip with two video tracks. This feature can be
used to support 3D. This feature requires special licensing.
Volume
The set of media drives that functions as a single physical disk in the K2 Summit
Production Client. The K2 system uses ‘V:’ for the volume name.
Widescreen Mode
An aspect ratio of 16:9, as opposed to an aspect ratio of 4:3.
