Setting the Default Sizes of the Images
Note
These are just pre-settings. The sources may not be visible at this time.
1.
In the
TRANSFORM
submenu, set 2D Size values X, Y, and All to 1, in
order to completely cover the background.

Decrease the value All (for example, to 0.75), in order to show a part of
the background (see PiP of an HR image within a Keyer PiP on page 62).
2.
Set PiP Size 2D to, for example, 0.5.
Selecting the Sources
1.
Select the desired background.
2.
Select the PiP of the HR image:
a.
In
SETUP > VIDEO > INPUT
select IN01 HR (or IN02 HR) as source from
the list.
b.
Select
Internal SD
as Type.
c.
Select the desired internal source from the Int. Sources list.
d.
Adjust the Alignment.
e.
If you want to get a fixed aspect ratio, activate the
Preserve Aspect
button.
3.
Select the HR main image, using a different Type (
VGA
,
DVI
, or
SDI HD
).
4.
Set the sizes of the images (see above).
Note
In few cases, the lowest line of the HR image’s PiP flickers with some
sources and settings. Changing the size or the Internal SD Alignment may
help.
Note
The HR sync signal must always be valid.
If an HR input signal is or becomes invalid (i.e., no or no valid sync), the PiP
will blink for approx. 15 seconds.
