iControl Edge can be incorporated into your existing security infrastructure. A qualified system
administrator should verify that the setup follows your organization’s security standards.
Network Configuration
Each device in your iControl Edge system arrives pre-configured with default IP Address, Subnet Mask and
Gateway. Instructions for changing these settings to conform to your network are provided further on in
this document. The first table below provides an overview of the default settings. The second table can be
used as a worksheet for recording your new network settings.
Note: On the client PC or laptop, the firewall must be disabled. Only one network interface card
(NIC) should be enabled. It is recommended to use a wired network connection and disable any
wireless adapter.
