500 Series Number
This chapter uses the Example Code 11.1 sample program to show you how to add Click
Supervisor support to your application. Once you have worked through this chapter, you
will be ready to follow each step of the process for your own custom application.
For your application, you will need to select an appropriate three digit number. The num-
bers 580–599 are reserved for custom Click 500 applications. It is recommended that you
start at the highest number and then work downwards toward 580.
The Click 500 Series number is displayed in the Click Supervisor device auto-discovery
window. Click Supervisor will use this number to search for the associated driver files in
the ClickHome > Drivers directory when you attempt to make a connection. The following
driver follows will need to reside in the “5XX” directory:
˽
A config block variable map (compressed XML) file - extension .zip
˽
Click Supervisor driver files - extension .myxaml
˽
A placeholder file - extension .txt
For example, in the directory “C:\Program Files\Wavetronix\ClickHome\Drivers\599,” you
would have the following files:
˽
Simple.myxaml
˽
C599.01.09.6.18.zip (compressed version of 599.xml)
˽
C599.01.09.6.18.txt
