Select the 500 series device in the list to complete a connection. A progress bar will appear
that says either “Upgrading device” or “Downloading communication file,” and then the
program will return to the main menu. Click on the Setup Click menu option and the driver
selection screen will appear (see Figure 11.4).

Click software drivers provide a flexible way to display the variables on your Click 500 series
device. These drivers customize what controls are displayed and how they are displayed. Ex-
pert drivers usually provide control to all settings on the device, while other drivers simplify
the configuration screens (see Figure 11.5).
