Offline Fallback Appendix A: Prompts at the Hertz Online TopKAT
If YES is pressed, the display shows:
“ENTER EQUIPMENT #
ENTER DRIVER #
ENTER PUMP #”
If NO is pressed, the display shows:
“TOTALIZER TRANS?
PRESS [YES] OR [NO]”
If YES is pressed, the display shows:
“ENTER PUMP #
ENTER READING (expressed as XXXXXXXX.XX)
READING RECORDED”
If NO is pressed, the display shows “TRANSACTION ABORTED”.
The display returns to scrolling:
“HOST OFFLINE
Press ENTER”
If no entry is received on any of the above after 20 seconds, the display returns to:
“HOST OFFLINE
Press ENTER”
Note: For the Dipstick, Delivery, and Totalizer transactions, since there is no Equipment
Number entered, the Equipment Number is fixed as follows:
Offline Scenario 2
If the Equipment # was entered when the TopKAT system was in authorization mode but no
Equipment Record was received due to loss of communications, the following is displayed:
“FUELING TRANS?
PRESS [YES] OR [NO]”
The sequence is as in “Offline Scenario 1” on page A-4 .
