PC TopKAT Online System Definitions
• The PC TopKAT Online System contains a custom designed software package, “PC
TopKAT Online” that is referred to throughout this manual as “PC Online”.
• The PC TopKAT Online System contains custom programmed firmware chips for the
TopKAT Fuel Management System (FMS) that is referred to throughout this manual as
“Online TopKAT chips”.
• The TopKAT FMS system with Online TopKAT chips installed are referred to throughout
this manual as the “Online TopKAT”.
• The PC Online Software, Online TopKAT Chips, TopKAT FMS system, and
communication hardware either Short Haul Modem (SHM) or wireless modems are
referred to throughout this manual as the “PC TopKAT Online System”.

For the “PC TopKAT Online System” to operate properly, both the “PC Online
Software” and the “Online TopKAT firmware chips” in the TopKAT FMS system
MUST be used together.
