Coyote Radio Software Setting Up Wireless Modems
7 – Setting Up Wireless Modems
The Coyote Radio programming software allows to program a minimum of two wireless
modems with the appropriate settings, if wireless communication between the Online TopKAT
and the PC Online Software is to be used. This software must be loaded on the same PC as the
PC running the PC Online software. Following are the features of the Coyote Radio
programming software:
• You cannot run this software at the same time as the PC Online Software.
• You may find it easier to bring the Online TopKAT modem(s) inside to program on the
same PC that has the Coyote Radio programming software installed.
• Mark the wireless modems after programming with “PC Modem” and “TopKAT Modem”
to avoid confusion later.
• Program the first Online TopKAT as source address 1 (poll address 1), the second Online
TopKAT as 2, and so on.
Coyote Radio Software
The Coyote Radio programming software is supplied on two diskettes. To install this software,
proceed as follows:
1 Insert Disk 1 in the floppy disk drive.
2 Select Start.
3 On the Start menu, select Run.
4 In the Open: box of the Run window, type A:\Setup.
Note: On most computers, the floppy drive is A. If the floppy disk drive is not “A”, type the
appropriate letter.
