• These reports may be configured with a various user-selectable sorting options.
• These user-selected report configuration(s) may be saved for future use.
• The format of the report is based upon the user-selected sort-by criteria.
Exporting Reports
• Disk formatting (Crystal Report) is available for all reports.
• The default export file location is “C:\Program Files\PC TopKAT Online\Exports.
• Disk (comma-delimited file) is available only with the Fuel Transactions report and the
output is in the form of a comma-delimited file that you can use in external applications.
• This format is not available when Summary is selected as an output selection.
• There is also an option to include a header line with the data. This is useful for
determining the layout of the data when preparing it for external use.
Utilities
The Utilities menu allows to backup the entire PC Online database. Every time you exit the
PC, you are offered an opportunity to back up the database.
• It is highly advised that a periodic backup procedure be implemented and strictly
followed.
• A dated periodic backup must be part of that procedure. Those dated backups must be
available for several weeks or months depending on your backup procedure.
• The backup created is capable of taking a fresh install of the PC Online software and
restoring the entire database back to the time of the last good backup.
• The backup file created SHOULD NOT ONLY be stored on the same PC that the PC
Online software is running on. In case of a PC hard drive failure or complete PC failure,
only the backups would be lost with the PC that just failed.
