6.5.4.3 Config (Configuration) pages
The ‘Config’ pages provide the means to set up the KPA’s operational parameters for Standalone
or Redundant operations.

The ‘Config | Amplifier’ page (Figure 6-5) sets and returns administration information for the
KPA’s Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) feature. For further details pertaining to
the configuration parameters available on this page, refer to Chapter 5. FRONT PANEL
OPERATION and Sect. 6.3 SNMP INTERFACE.
Amplifier
• Attenuation: Enter an attenuation value (in dB) between 0.00 and 20.00.
• Mute: Use the drop-down menu to select Mute as On or Off.
• Amplifier: Use the drop-down menu to select Amplifier operation as On or Off.
• Fault Recovery: Use the drop-down menu to select Fault Recovery as Automatic or
Manual.
Once the desired configuration settings have been made in this section, the user should then click
[Change Configuration] to save these changes. Otherwise, click [Reset] to cancel any changes
and restore the previously saved parameters.
Serial
• Interface Type: Use the drop-down menu to select the remote serial interface as RS-232,
RS-485 2-wire, or RS-485 4-wire.
• Remote Address: Enter a remote address from 0 to 9999.
