About this Manual

This manual provides installation and operation information for the Comtech EF Data family of
Ku-Band Indoor Solid-State Power Amplifiers (ISSPAs) – the KPA-020IN, KPA-040, KPA-080, and
KPA-100. This is a technical document intended for earth station engineers, technicians, and operators
responsible for the operation and maintenance of the KPAs.

Revision 1 of this manual represents a complete rewrite in which all content has been updated in its
entirety and re-ordered to conform to current Comtech EF Data Technical Publications standards
and practices.
