Display Devices
Besides the built-in LCD, you can also use an external monitor as your dis-
play device. A monitor connects to the external monitor (VGA) port
.
Switching/Enabling Displays (Keyboard)
You can switch display devices with the Fn + Display (F7) toggle. With the
video driver installed, you also can use its built-in controls to switch the dis-
play options. If you haven’t installed the video driver, refer to
for setup instructions. To switch the display options:
1.
Plug the monitor into the appropriate port.
2.
Press and hold the Fn key, while simultaneously pressing the F7 key.
3.
You may toggle through the options to display the LCD only, the external
display alone and the LCD and the external display together (make sure you
allow time for the screens to refresh as you toggle through).
