Removing the Battery
If you are confident in undertaking upgrade procedures yourself, for safety
reasons it is best to remove the battery.
Battery Removal Process
1. Turn the computer off, and turn it over.
2. Locate the battery bay as highlighted in Figure 6 - 1 .
3. Slide the battery lock in the direction of the arrow .
4. Slide the battery lock in the direction of the arrow , and hold it in place.
5. Slide the battery in the direction of the arrow , then lift it up and out of the
computer’s battery bay.
