Wireless LAN (WinXP)
Make sure the module is powered on before install-
ing the driver. To toggle power to the WLAN mod-
ule use the key combination Fn + F11, or
Rotate Application” on page 3 - 4
1. Insert the Intel PRO CD-ROM into the CD
drive.
2. Click Wireless LAN Adapters (button).
3. Click Install Software (button).
4. Click Next.
5. Click the button to accept the license and click
Next > Next > Install > Finish.
6. If you can see the My Computer icon on your
desktop (if you cannot see the My Computer
icon go to step 7) click on it once to select it,
then right-click it to make the sub-menu appear
and scroll down to Properties and click on it
(go to step 8).
7. If you cannot see the My Computer icon click
Start (menu), then point to (but don’t click just
highlight it) My Computer. Right-click it to
make the sub-menu appear and scroll down to
Properties and click on it (go to step 3).
8. Click the Hardware (tab), then click Device
Manager (button).
9. Click “+” next to Other Devices (if its sub-
items are not shown).
10.Double-click Network Controller and click
Reinstall Driver (button).
11.When the Hardware Update Wizard appears,
click “Install from a list or specific location
(Advanced)” then click Next.
12.Select “Search for the best driver in these
locations.” and select ONLY “Include this
location in the search:”.
13.Navigate (Browse...) to
D:\PROW7100\WINXP and click OK > Next.
14.Click Finish and close the open windows.
You can now install the Administration Tools (see
over).
