• Configuring the conditions for sending mail when the IP ad

dress is changed

If the network camera is set to obtain an IP address automatically from

the DHCP server, the IP address is changed when the power of the net
work camera is turned off or on, or periodically for security reasons. You

can configure the network camera to send mail to inform you that the IP
address has been changed.

Configure the "Condition for Sending Mail When IP

Address Is Changed" setting

Set the "Send Mail When IP address Is Changed" to "ON" or "OFF."

The default setting is "ON."

Mail is not sent if the mail settings (SMTP server information and administrator
mail address) (^page 59) have not been configured.

The following fixed information are also added to the body of messages.

■

The subnet mask

■The default gateway
■

The time and date

■

The camera name
