Fagoting Stitch

Use this stitch to join two pieces of fabric to create an open
work appearance, and add design interest. Fold under
each fabric edge 1/2“ (1.3 cm) and press Pin the two
edges to paper or tear-away backing 1/8" (0,3 cm) apart.
Sew slowly, guiding the fabric so the needle catches the
folded edge on each side.
