3.2.2 Defining measuring channels
With the 844 UV/VIS Compact IC up to four measuring channels can be
recorded simultaneously: Abs.1, Abs.2, Abs.3 and Ch1/Ch2 (three
measuring channels for absorption at different wavelengths, as well as
the ratio between measuring channel 1 and measuring channel 2). For
each measuring channel you should include one data recorder (icon:
) in the system.
Add a data recorder
Proceed as follows to insert a data recorder: Select
SYSTEM / Setup /
New Devices / Install new device.. , the window ADDING DEVICES TO
YOUR SYSTEM opens. Select Other modules in the upper selection
list:
Select Data recorder in the list and click on .
The icons for the data recorders are shown in your system window. An
example of a system with four measuring channels is shown below:
Via IC NET / Options / Global preferences you can arrange the data
recorder icons one above the other under GLOBAL PREFERENCES .
