3 Tubing connection Injection valve – Waste
• Loosen connection capillary 33 from injection valve 46/60.
(sample outlet).
• Cut a piece of 6.1831.060 PTFE capillary (sample changer
accessory) to the required length, attach it to injection valve
46/60. using a 6.2744.010 PEEK compression fitting and
place the other end in a waste container.
4 Setting a method on the 813
• Use the 813 keyboard on the 813 Compact Autosampler to
set the required method (see 813 Instructions for Use).
5 Creating a time program for the 844
• In the main window of the «IC Net» software select
File / Open /
System
. Open the system for the 844 UV/VIS Compact IC that
you have created in Section 2.5.4..
• Open the window with the system settings of the 844 UV/VIS
Compact IC (with a double-click on the 844 icon or via the
right-hand mouse key

).
• Open the
Program
tab.
• Create a time program:

The Remote command sends a signal to the 813 via
Remote line 3. The function of this signal depends on the
method selected at the 813 (see 813 Instructions for Use,
Section 3.4).

The two Valve commands switch the injection valve of the
844 to the positions Fill and Inject.
