2 Attach flow-through cell
• Attach flow-through cell 42/62 to the optical bank with the
knurled screws 132.
2.9.2
Connect the lamps
Connect the UV (deuterium) and VIS (halogen) lamps as follows:
1 Connect VIS (halogen) lamp
• Plug "VIS lamp connection cable" 13 into "VIS lamp
connection"
2 Connect UV (deuterium) lamp
• Plug "UV lamp connection cable" 11 into "UV lamp
connection" 12.

Flow-through cell tubing connections
Make the flow-through tubing connections as follows:
1 Connect flow-through cell inlet

with 2.844.0010:
• Attach connection capillary 111 (6.1831.110) connected to
column 113 to inlet "IN" 131 of flow-through cell 42 using a
64 (6.2744.010).

with 2.844.0020:
• Attach connection capillary 107 (6.1831.110) to outlet "to
detector"

• Attach the other end of connection capillary 107
(6.1831.110) to inlet "IN"

compression fitting 64 (6.2744.010).

• Attach connection capillary 122 (6.1831.120) connected to
column 113 to inlet "IN" 131 of flow-through cell 42using a
64 (6.2744.010).

• Attach connection capillary 123 (6.1831.120) to outlet "to
detector"
