126 Capillary prewarming
for column connection capillary
1 Open the column heating
• Unscrew the two knurled screws 116 and remove cover 117
from the column heating.
2 Prepare column heating
• Lead column inlet capillary 47/110 through feedthrough 121
into the column heating.
• Push column inlet capillary 47/110 into the outer one of the
two capillary prewarming slots 126 of the channel you have
selected. Push column inlet capillary 47/110 under holder
125 until it appears at the other end.
• Now bend column inlet capillary 47/110 and push it through
the inner capillary prewarming slot 126 alongside until it
appears at the other end.
• Lead connection capillary 123/124 (without post column
reactor) or 123 (with post column reactor) outward through
feedthrough
111 using a compression fitting 64 (6.2744.010)
and provide it with a compression fitting 64 6.2744.010 on the
inside.
If not much space is available then the
6.2744.070 PEEK
compression fitting short contained in the standard equipment can
also be used for attaching the PEEK capillary.
