• Use shielded cable or grounded metal conduit for control wiring both inside and
outside the enclosure, all the way to the control source. Bring the shield as close
to the control terminals as possible. Connect the shield to the SP200 shield/
common (terminal 1) and to the PE terminal on the input side (top) of the SP200
drive. Also connect the opposite end of the shield to the common of the device
that is controlling the SP200 drive.
• Use EMC-tested 360 degree cable clamps to connect the motor and control
shields to the enclosure cable exit point(s) and to the motor housing. Contact
points must be clean and free of paint or nonconductive coating.
• Make certain all ground connections provide a low impedance path for high
frequency signals.
