Use Modems with
Micro800 Controllers Serial modems can be used with the Micro820 controllers.
Making a DF1 Point-to-Point Connection
You can connect the Micro820 programmable controller to your serial modem.
The recommended protocol for this is Modbus RTU.
Construct Your Own Modem Cable
If you construct your own modem cable, the maximum cable length is 3 m (10 ft)
with a 25-pin or 9-pin connector. Refer to the following typical pinout for
constructing a straight-through cable:
