Chapter 3 Installing RSBizWare
• If your configuration contains all the features listed above,
click Cancel, and then quit the SQL Server setup.
• If your configuration misses any features listed above:
1. Add the features.
2. Continue with step 10 in "Step 2: Install SQL Server
2012 Service Pack 1 (page 32)", and finish the
configuration of your SQL Server.
TIP
If you have chosen the installation on two computers, perform the
following steps on the RSBizWare server computer.
NOTE
It is recommended that you read the RSBizWare software release
notes before installing the software. The release notes may
contain more up-to-date information than was available when
this document was published. A shortcut to the release notes is
available in the installation wizard on the RSBizWare installation
DVD.
To install FactoryTalk Services Platform:
1. Run the RSBizWare installation DVD.
The RSBizWare installation wizard appears.
2. Click FactoryTalk Metrics > Installation > Install
FactoryTalk Services Platform.
The installation wizard appears.
It lists pending programs that need to be installed before the
installation of FactoryTalk Services Platform.
3. Click Install.
Once the prerequisite programs are installed, the FactoryTalk
Services Platform installation wizard appears.
4. Click Next.
