7. In the Object Explorer tree, expand Databases >
database> > Security.
8. Right-click Users, and then click New Database User.
The Database User - New dialog box appears.
9. In the User name box, type a name for the user.
10. Next to the Login name option, click
.
The Select Login dialog box appears.
11. Select the login that you created in steps 3-6.
12. Click OK.
13. In the Object Explorer tree, expand Databases >
database> > Tables.
14. Right-click the table for which you want to set the
permissions, and then click Properties.
The Table Properties dialog box appears.
15. Under Select a page, click Permissions.
16. In the right pane of the window, click Search.
The Select Users or Roles dialog box appears.
17. Find the user that you created in steps 8-12.
18. Click OK.
19. Under Permissions, set the permissions for the user.
20. Click OK.
To configure the FactoryTalk Transaction Manager server
computer:
1. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Computer
Management.
The Computer Management dialog box appears.
2. Expand System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Groups.
