The preferred connector for communicating with the ControlLogix
processor is the Generic OPC connector, not the RSLinx
Connector. Beginning with RSLinx 2.20.00, RSLinx Classic
supports online browsing of the ControlLogix processor's memory
to select data points.
The following example explains configuration for both the Generic
OPC Connector and the RSLinx Connector.
Perform the following steps:
1. Using the Generic OPC Connector, define the following:
