10 Torque
10.1 Features
The torque control is used to supply a torque which is proportional
to the setpoint, depending on a torque reference at a connected AC
asynchronous
For this, the torque is entered via
an analog input which is permanently compared with the
torque supplied to the motor shaft.
If the torque exceeds the act. value torque, the field
frequency and thus the output voltage is reduced until and
act. value are identical. If the act. value torque is reduced when the
load is removed from the drive, the field frequency is increased
again.
A motor without load and with a torque than OV will
accelerate to the field frequency setpoint, i.e. the drive operates as
torque Source.
