8.2.1 Computer System Requirements

8.2.2 Software Installation

Either the Composer Monitor or the Setup Tool software can be installed in a
computer with either Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT operating
system.

Insert the installation disk #1 into your floppy disk drive, typically "

In the Start Menu, select Settings >> Control Panel.

In the Control Panel double click on Add/Remove Programs.

Click on the Install button in the upper right of the dialog box.

Follow the directions to complete the installation.

NOTE: Depending upon your computer system, you may be prompted to

reboot the system after it updates older system files in your computer.
In this case, go back to step 1 after rebooting your computer.

It will prompt you for the final destination directory. The default destination
is

c:\Program Files\Composer Monitor

or

c:\Program

Files\Composer Setup Tool

, depending on the software being

installed. If you select a directory other than the default, be sure to setup the
log file before logging any data.

When the Installation is complete, put the original disks in a safe storage
area.
