2 Choose a color depth from the pop-up menu.
Depending on which option is set in the Monitors control panel, the color
depth changes as soon as you choose a color depth from the menu or when
you restart your computer.
Moving and hiding the Control Strip
Moving the Control Strip
You can drag the Control Strip to the right or left edge of your screen. To
reposition the Control Strip:
1 Hold down the Option key and drag the Control Strip by its tab.
An outline of the Control Strip shows where the Control Strip will move to.
2 Release the Option key and mouse button.
The Control Strip appears in its new position, and remains there until you
move it again.
Hiding the Control Strip
If you want to hide the Control Strip so it does not appear at all on the
desktop:
1 Choose Control Panels from the Apple (
K
) menu, and Open the Control Strip
control panel.
