Enter a name for your custom white point and click Save.
The custom white point is saved, and the name appears in the Custom White
Point pop-up menu.

Click Recalibrate.
After several seconds, your display is recalibrated using the white point you
created.

After you’ve created a custom white point, you can make another color adjustment or
close the AppleVision Setup control panel.
After you create custom a white point, it’s a good idea to adjust for ambient
light. See “Adjusting for Ambient Light” later in this chapter.
Creating a white point using a CIE color space
The two most popular industry standards for defining colors are:
m 1931 CIE color space: This standard uses a color space defined by x,y
coordinates. This standard was created in 1931 by the Commission
International de l’Eclairage (CIE), the International Commission on
Illumination.
m 1976 CIE color space: This standard uses a color space defined by u',v'
coordinates. This standard was created in 1976 by the Commission
International de l’Eclairage (CIE).
