Creating a communications document
To create a communications document, choose New from the File menu, click
Communications, and then click OK. Or, click
on the Default button bar. (If
you don’t see the button bar, choose Show Button Bar from the Window menu.)
About the communications window
All communication between your computer and an online service or another
computer appears in the communications window.
Connecting to another computer
After you create a communications document, you’re ready to:

connect to an online service or a remote computer using a modem

connect directly to another computer, using a cable

receive a call from another computer, using a modem
* Choose Index from the or Help menu and scroll to the entry. Then choose a topic from
the list and click Go To Topic.
