DESTROY VLAN
Syntax
destroy vlan= name | vid |all
Parameters
vlan Specifies the name or VID of the VLAN to be deleted.
To delete all VLANs, use the ALL option.
Description
This command deletes port-based, tagged, and MAC address-based
VLANs from a switch. You can use the command to deleted selected
VLANs or all VLANs, with the exception of the Default_VLAN.
Examples
The following command deletes the Sales VLAN from the switch:
destroy vlan=Sales
The following command deletes the Sales VLAN using both the name and
the VID:
destroy vlan=Sales vid=102
The following command deletes all port-based and tagged VLANs on a
switch:
destroy vlan=all
