MEASUREMENT
FUNCTION
Excites a vibrating wire sensor with a swept
frequency (from low frequency to high), then
measures the response period and calculates 1/T
2
,
where T is the period in ms. Excitation is normally
provided before each repetition. As an option, a
single excitation can be made prior to all repetitions
of the measurement. An AVW1 or AVW4 Vibrating
Wire Interface is usually required for these sensors.

*** 29 INW PS9105 ***
FUNCTION
The Instrumentation Northwest PS9105
Enhanced (5 psig model) Pressure Transducer
is used to measure water level. This instruction
excites the PS9105 with a single excitation
channel and measures the sensor’s output on
two consecutive differential analog input
channels. The pressure and sensor
temperature are written into two consecutive
input locations starting at the location specified
in parameter 3.
Each PS9105 5 psig with the enhanced
measurement option has 20 parameters that
are documented on the calibration sheet. Enter
these parameters into Instruction 29.
