Front-panel messages

Lift lever to align
with blue line or to
remove media.
This printing material has not
been fed into the printer

Reload the printing material making
sure that the edges are parallel and
that it is straight when you feed it in.
Align the material coming out from the
printer with the material going into the
printer. See 34, in section load and
unload material on the reverse of this
guide.

The printer is prompting you to
load printing material (at least
D-sized) so that it can perform
a calibration.

Install the ink cartridges as shown in
the Setup Instructions that came with
your printer.

an unusual error; it may
disappear if you switch off
and then on again.
Switch off the printer using the power
switch located at the rear. Then switch
on again.
This media type
supports Production
PQ level.

print mode with this printing
material.
If you want to use the Production print
mode, you can select it from your
printer driver, from WebAccess, or
from the front panel.
