Management Information ( Figure 36 (page 60) )—Use to configure management settings.
Click the icon to access the following settings:
◦ MAC Address—The management port’s MAC address.
◦ Link Status—The management port link status (Link Up or Link Down).
◦ IPv4 Management Info Check box—Used to define the source of the management port
IP address, subnet mask, and gateway.
– DHCP Radio Button—Used to select whether you want to define the management
port IP address or have it obtained automatically through DHCP.
– IP Address—The management port’s IP address. When the Use the following IP
address button is selected, you can configure the IP address. When the Obtain an
IP address automatically (DHCP) button is set, the IP address displayed is the address
obtained automatically through DHCP.
– Subnet Mask—The management port’s subnet mask. When the Use the following IP
address button is selected, you can configure the subnet mask. When the Obtain an
IP address automatically (DHCP) button is selected, the subnet mask displayed is the
mask obtained automatically through DHCP.
– Gateway—The management port’s default gateway address. When the Use the
following IP address button is selected, you can configure the IP address of the default
gateway. When the Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP) button is set, the
default gateway IP address displayed is the address obtained automatically through
DHCP.
◦ IPv6 Management Info Check box
Auto radio button—Select this option to allow the system to obtain the IPv6
management information automatically. –
– IPv6 Address 1/2—If the Auto button is not selected, select to configure the IP address.
