DESCRIPTION The *STB? query reads the contents of the
488.1 defined status register (STB), and the
Master Summary Status (MSS). The response
represents the values of bits 0 to 5 and 7 of the
Status Byte register and the MSS summary
message.
The response to a *STB? Query is identical to
the response of a serial poll except that the MSS
summary message appears in bit 6 in place of
the RQS message.
