Dante Device Discovery
The Tools menu also provides a way to locate other Dante devices on your network. Once
the device is named (see
on page 113), it can easily be
identified as a Dante host from any other Dante device.
To locate Dante devices on an audio network:
1.
Select Tools>Device Settings. The
Device Settings
dialog opens.
2.
Select the Dante Device tab.
3.
Dante devices are found by either:
a.
Entering the name in the AT name: field,
-or-
b.
Click Search for Dante components
to start a search.
The search may take a few minutes.
As new devices are discovered, they are listed
in the window.
4.
If you are using the EXP port to connect to
a non AT DMP 128, check the Use Extron
Expansion Bus for channels 41-56 box
