1 Product description
The FAD-420-HS-EN Duct Smoke Detector is used to detect
smoke in ventilation systems. It enables the early detection of a
fire thanks to its compact housing design, which permanently
conducts air from the ventilation duct through the detector,
combined with its modern LSN
improved
bus technology.
A specially adapted photoelectric smoke detector of type FAD-
O420 is installed in the FAD-420-HS-EN to aid its function.
When the FAD-O420 detects smoke, it sends a message to the
fire panel, which then displays an alarm message and carries
out the necessary steps that have been programmed, for
example: shutting down the ventilators in the ventilation
system.
The FAD-420-HS-EN with smoke detector FAD-O420 is
identified as FAP-O420/FAD-O420 in the Local Security
Network (LSN) improved version.
A relay board that facilitates the activation of devices, for
example ventilators or smoke dampers, via a relay with change-
over contact, is available as an accessory.
