11. The direction of the airflow must be taken into account
when installing the sample tube! The extraction holes must
face into the airflow (see Figure 4.10).
12. If the detector was installed according to position 2 of
Figure 3.2, then the ventilation tube should be positioned
downstream of the sample tube (see Figure 4.11).
13. Insert the sample tube and ventilation tube through the
securing flanges and ensure that the locating pins align
with the designated indents. The extraction holes on the
sample tube must face into the airflow! Fit both securing
flanges and mount with the four #8-32 x 9/16 in. screws.
Tighten the screws by hand.
14. Place the air filters on the ends of the sample tube and
ventilation tube (see Figure 4.13).
15. Now visually check the complete installation.
