4.2.1.2 Device Description
This page allows configuring the description of the Managed Switch, including device name, device location and system contact.
After setup is completed, please press “Apply” button to take effect, and the screen in
Figure 4-2-3 appears.

The page includes the following fields:
Object Description
 Device Name The name identifying the Managed Switch.
Maximum length: 32 characters.
 Device Location The device location information of the Managed Switch.
Maximum length: 32 characters.
 System Contact The system contact information of the Managed Switch.
Maximum length: 32 characters.
