Power Status


Connect the oscilloscope to AC power using a power cord and at this point, the
oscilloscope is energized. MSO2000A/DS2000A oscilloscope allows users to set the
power status of the oscilloscope after it is energized. Press UtilityPowerStatus
to set the power status to “Default” or “Open”.

 Default: after the oscilloscope is energized, press the power key at the front

panel to start the instrument.

 Open: the instrument starts directly when it is energized.

Note:

At this point, you can still press the power key at the front panel to turn

off the instrument.
