4. Select
the
Generate Number for Card while Encoding to generate the card number
automatically.
Note: When you select this check box, the Generate ID button appears on the Add Person
Cards and Authorizations screen when you select the any Read/Write Card Type. You
may click the button and the Card ID is generated automatically.
5. In
the
Number Width field, enter the number of digits allowed for the card number and
select Decimal or Hexadecimal number from the adjacent drop-down list.
6. To provide a range for the Card Numbers, enter the minimum and maximum number in
the Generate Number betweenand field.
7. In
the
Mask Number Prefix field, enter the number which you want to appear before
the Identification number for the person. For example, if you enter 15 as a person
identification number and the Mask prefix number is 000, then the Person ID would be
00015.
8. In
the
Mask Number Postfix field, enter the number which you want to appear after
the Identification number for the person. For example, if you enter 15 as a person
identification number and the Mask postfix number is 000, then the Person ID would
be15000.
9. In
the
Password Configuration area, select the priority for the password policy from
the Password Policy drop-down list.
10. You may click Policy Description to view the password policy. The Password Policy
Description dialog box appears.
