1. On the General Configuration screen, click Visit/Visitor tab.

2. In the Visitor Settings area, select the encoding applied to the visitor details from the
Convert Visitor Name to drop-down list. When the visitor data is encoded in a card,
depending upon the option selected, the data is encoded. For example, if you select
First Letter in Upper Case, Other in Lower Case, then the visitor details are written
in this format on the card.
3. Select the Delete Visitors who did not come sincedays check box and enter the
number of days in the field after which the visitor details should be removed from the
ACUS system.
Note: Everyday, visitors will be deleted at 11:45 PM based upon the number of days selected
here. For example, if you have selected 30 Days, then everyday at 11:45 PM, the system
will delete those visitors that are older than 30 days.
4. In the Visits Setting area, enter the default length for a visit in the Default Length of a
Visit in minutes field. If you do not select any length for the visit while scheduling one,
this will be considered as a default length and the visit will be terminated when the time
is up.
5. Select the Delete Visits Older thandays check box and enter the number of days
after which the visit details should be deleted from the system.
Note: Everyday, Visits will be deleted at 11:30 PM based upon the configuration done here.
6. Select the time when you want to automatically close the visit from the Automatically
close visit at drop-down list.
