CONNECTING POWER AND EARTH LINES
The units of the Production Switcher have been completely checked in the factory
and are in conformity with the safety regulation EN60950 / VDE0805 (protection
class 1) when leaving the factory.
The respective switcher mainframe (E-box) is located in a 19-inch case, suitable
for being installed in a DIN or 19-inch cabinet.
CAUTION!
To reduce the risk of electric shock, plug each power supply cord into sepa-
rate branch circuits employing separate service grounds.
CAUTION!
This equipment has more than one power supply cord. To reduce the risk of
electric shock disconnect two power supply cords before servicing.
Prior to connecting the switcher components to the line voltage make sure that the
power supplies of control panel and electronics box are adjusted to the correspond-
ing primary voltage. The factory-adjusted voltage is indicated on the respective
connector panel (mainframe, control panel) were also the type label is fastened.
Make the earth connections always before applying mains power!
Line voltage:
SH-1/2/3/4-BM Mainframe:
200 V to 240 V $ 10 % AC
SH-1/2S-BM Mainframe:
100 V to 240 V $ 10 % AC
Control panels:
100 V to 240 V $ 10 % AC,
