LAN SPECIFICATION
For operation of the XtenDD switcher, multiple mainframes and panels designed
for different applications can be connected and operated via a Local Area Network
LAN.
Caution:
The XtenDD switchers are real-time devices. Other devices con-
nected to the same LAN cabling will cause degradation in com-
munications and reduce the reliability of the Switcher.
Caution:
For the system to operate, the LAN cable MUST be 50 ohms and
the cable MUST be terminated with a 50 ohm termination on
EACH end.
The applied LAN (Cheapernet) connection features the following characteristics:
