Note:
The screen of the cheapernet network has to be earthed at one point to
intercept influences from outside. The network must be earthed only at one
point even if the network is extended further in order to create clear ground
potential. Earthing is made always at the mainframe. Instead of an usual 50W
BNC terminator, a terminator with earth screw is enclosed. The terminator
has to be connected with the enclosed earth wire to the PE terminal of the
mainframe.
