The screen of the cheapernet network has to be
earthed at one point to intercept influences from
outside. The network must be earthed only at one
point even if the network is extended further in or-
der to create clear ground potential. Earthing is
made always at the mainframe. Instead of an
usual 50W BNC terminator, a terminator with earth
screw is enclosed. The terminator has to be con-
nected with the enclosed earth wire to the
grunding terminal of the mainframe.
