Using Aux Buses to Fly a Key

Another way to fly a key in the switcher is to use the Aux Buses to
select inputs for a DPM. The DPM outputs can then be applied to
switcher inputs which can be used for keying.

To fly a key using this method, do the following:

NOTE:

The switcher’s Aux Bus outputs must be connected to the

DPM’s inputs, and the DPM’s outputs must be connected to the
switcher’s inputs and assigned to crosspoints in the Configuration/
Crosspoint Mapping menu. In addition, the Configuration/Define
Inputs menu must be set up to map the DPM key as the Auto Select Key
Source for the DPM video input.

1.

In the Bus Delegates section of the panel, delegate the Aux
Bus that feeds the DPM key channel. Then select the Aux bus

[CROSSPOINT]

corresponding to the key source you intend to

use.

2.
