Section 4— Basic Operations
Learning Auto Transitions
The E-MEM system can also store an auto transition, DSK mix, or
black mix along with a panel setup. When you recall the register,
the setup will be recalled and the transitions will occur.
1.
Set transition rates for all of the transitions you plan to learn.
2.
Select the
[Learn]
pushbutton so that it lights.
3.
Select
[Bank]
and
[0 or 1]
. (This step is optional.)
4.
Select transitions in any order:
[Auto Trans]
,
[DSK Mix]
, or
[Black Mix]
.
If you decide not to learn a transition, you can cancel it by
pressing the transition button again.
5.
Select a
[register]
pushbutton. The current panel setup and
the selected transitions will be learned.
To recall the effect and transitions, do a recall as described
previously.
Undo Function
The
[Undo]
button undoes the most recent E-MEM operation:
To undo an accidental recall, press
[Undo]
immediately after the
recall. The panel setup prior to the recall will be restored. You can
switch back to the recalled setup again by pressing
[Undo]
a
second time. Repeated toggling between the two effects is
possible.
To undo a learn, press
[Undo]
immediately after the learn. The
previous contents of the affected register will be restored.
