Wipe Menus
Press the white
[Wipe]
top menu button to display the Wipe top-
level menu shown in Figure 3-56.
Wipe Menu Functions:
(PATTERN SELECT)
—Scrolls through the pattern display.
[ASPECT]
—Turns the Aspect adjustment on or off. When turned
OFF
, the pattern returns to its normal shape. When turned ON, the
pattern returns to its last aspect setting.
(ASPECT)
—Adjusts aspect or angle of the pattern.
[ROTATION]
—Selects a rotation parameter to apply to the pattern.
The [OFF] selection turns rotation off and returns the pattern to its
default fixed position.
(ROTATION ANGLE)
—Rotates the pattern to a new fixed
position.
[PATTERN SCAN]
—Selects EVEN, ODD, or INTERLACE operation:
For proper pattern generating, one of the two frames used in
Progressive Scan is set to “even” and the other set to “odd.” If
your system is not being used for Progressive Scan, INTRLACE
should be selected for interlace pattern generation.
[MULT>]
—Displays the Wipe Multiply menu.
[MOD>]
—Displays the Modulation menu.
[CLEAR PATTERN]
—The wipe pattern characteristics you have
assigned (modulation etc.) will be cleared and the pattern will
return to default settings.
[CENTER PATTERN]—
The wipe pattern will return to center. This is
useful if the pattern has been moved out of view with the
positioner.
